Application Steps

1.Eligibility

  • Each team should consist of 2 to 8 members.
  • All members should be full-time students or 2018-2020 graduates of higher diploma, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or doctorate programmes in any tertiary institutions in Hong Kong.
  • While team members may be from different institutions, the team shall represent the tertiary institution to which the team leader belongs.
  • All team members should participate in one team only.
  • The ownership of any products, technologies and patents associated with the participating project should belong to the related team, and should not be subject to any intellectual property disputes.
  • The fund raised by the team shall not exceed HKD 3 million.
  • The team should be established in or operating for less than 4 years.
  • All finalists will be required to present their student identity cards for verification.
  • Finalist teams should present their products or minimum viable products.

2. Application Details

  • Please complete the application form and submit it with a PDF pitch deck of up to 15 pages and with font size no smaller than 12 pt.
  • Each participating team may choose to submit a video of 2 to 3 minutes to introduce their product and the team.
*The pitch deck and video submitted may be excerpted, edited and published by the organiser on the related platforms for promotional purpose.

3.Application Method (Select One)

  • Submit by post to the Hong Kong Youth Development Alliance, Room 29, 12th Floor, 1 Peking Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon
*For submission by post, the postmark date on the envelope will be regarded as the submission date.
